This Malta hotel offers 136 luxurious furbished guestrooms with 5-star hospitality to ensure a great stay. The Malta hotel itself is situated on the edge of Valletta's walls and on parts of the fortification system outworks. This location was the basis for the construction of the Malta hotel. The idea to build this hotel dates back to 1935 and initiated by Lady Strickland. However, in 1942 the site was heavily bombed during WWII and in 1944 the site had to be reconstructed again. In 1948, the construction of the hotel was completed.
