Scooter Night Tour

This tour covers the highlands of centralMaltaat its best as well we will be having a midnight swim at one of our scheduled beaches.

Participant Guidelines

IMPORTANT NOTIFICATIONS

Clients must be over 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and all non-E.U. citizens must also have an INTERNATIONAL driver’s license to drive a scooter inMalta. If the client doesn’t own a license they can only ride as a passenger. Previous experience on a scooter or motorbike is advantageous and highly advised.

“DaScoot are not a scooter school” – we are not in the business of teaching people how to ride a scooter. Clients must be already a competent scooter driver in order to join us.

All of our scooters are easy to ride, but a good sense of balance and coordination are required. Each scooter has a 125cc engines. They are lighter and easier to drive than a larger motorbike but they are also quite heavy! Each scooter can carry up two adults with an approx weight of no more than 200kg. Overweight persons will not be allowed on our scooters!

Clients will be driving a motor vehicle on public roads. Clients are responsible for their safety but also for the safety of other motorists, bikers and pedestrians. Clients must be able to control the scooter and drive it competently.

If we feel that the client driving skills puts himself/herself and others at risk we reserve the right to take the scooter away from them. If a client crashes one of the scooters — defined as losing control of the scooter and driving off the road — we will not let the client ride anymore. In the event that the client cannot ride as a passenger on one of the scooters, then we will help to arrange an alternative mode of transport, either taxi, or rental car, but at their expense.

Please note that the rates for 2 persons apply for one driver and one pillion. If two scooter's are requested the price will be 75 Euros per person.

Other Disclosures

Subject to availability these tours can run any day of the week and start at any time. The tour can be personally designed just for you and/or your partner (e.g. honey moon, special surprise). The tour will be only with you and/or your partner and the guide. You will have the freedom to spend extra time visiting monuments/ museums/ shopping complexes, etc. You can also compliment your tour with a lunch or dinner at any local specialty restaurant.
