Selmunett Bed & Breakfast Malta

The Selmunett Luxury B&B is a charming family run Bed and Breakfast located on the edge of the Village of Naxxar, more or less in the centre of the island. Selmunett has a well maintained peaceful garden with trees, flowers and seasonal fruits. There is also a swimming pool that can provide enjoyment after a day of touring, prior to dinner. The Stricklands, owners of the property, can suggest the most interesting sites on the islands for sightseeing. Guests can hire cars or, if necessary, transportation with guide in any language of preference can be arranged.

Andrew the owners' son and his wife Justine own an excellent Organic Olive Grove. Excursions are organised to the Grove. Should this visit be of interest to any guest, transportation will be provided as both Justine and Andrew are most enthusiastic in what they are doing and welcome guests. Depending on the time of year, one can participate in the pruning of the Olive trees or actually harvesting them, crating them and taking them to the local press for pressing. However if all this sounds too exhausting, it is nice to just walk around to see what is going on, enjoying a refreshing beer, before one has the chance to have a nibble on a "typical" Farmers' Lunch.

At different times of year, depending on the season, they produce sun dried tomatoes, olives in oil and olive tapenade. Jam is made from the fruits they grow, ranging from Peaches to Plums to Pomegranate.

Besides organising excursions to the Organic Olive Farm, the Strickland family arranges daily trips to Valletta, Malta's capital, Mdina the "Silent City" and old capital, the sister islands Gozo or Comino, temples in Malta, and also arranges for a relaxing day at a hotel Beach Club or to participate in a large range of water sports. They can give you right guidance depending on individual interests. There certainly is a lot to see.

Selmunett Luxury Bed and Breakfast offer its guests a pleasant stay. We offer an English breakfast every day, partly served with our homemade products. Guests also have the opportunity, by mutual agreement, to enjoy a mouth-watering lunch also partly served with home made products. The property also has an outdoor swimming pool at its disposal where one can cool down after a long warm day exploring all the interesting aspects of Malta.
For guests that seek total relaxation Selmunett makes special arrangements for holistic body-mind solutions that can take place at nearby St. Paul's Bay or by special arrangement at Selmunett. The treatments include Full Body Massage, Skin Cleaning, Skin Moisturizing, Reflexology, Indian Head and Reiki sessions.

Cancellations 48 hours or more prior to arrival will cost 20% of the booking amount.

Cancellations within 48 hours prior to arrival will cost the entire booking amount.
