The owners, Paullette, Vincent and Marsette, contribute to making Malta a responsible holiday destination by focusing on the environmental impacts.

The family invites you to stay in a hostel, which is new, well furnished and offers good value for money while contributing towards an environmentally responsible Malta. Granny's Inn, which only opened its doors last year has a solar panel system for water heating, a water softening plant for reduced use of detergent and a ‘Thermaseal' on the top floor to minimize the heat entering the premises. In addition, they use sensor lights in all common areas to minimize the use of light by the guests.

Besides the environmental measures, Paullette and her family also encourage guests to visit the ‘crafts village' to see locally made products and traditional crafts, and buy some beautiful mementos / souvenirs.
