The Gardens is situated on the outskirts of Victoria, opposite a public garden where one can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Gozo. The Victoria Bus Terminal, from where buses ply to all parts of the island, is less than 2 km away. In February, a visit to Nadur, a city located near the Mġarr Harbour, is advised. Spectacular Carnival celebrations are held here in the last but one weekend of February. An amazing parade is held in which the local people dress up in interesting costumes.

By bus
Bus number X4 departs from Malta International airport at Luqa and proceeds to Cirkewwa, where ferry boats wait to carry passengers to Gozo.  

 

The ferry boat from Cirkewwa charges about €4.50 per person (return ticket) and reaches Mġarr Harbour, Gozo. Bus number 301 or 303 heads towards Victoria, Gozo's capital. From there it is less than two km by foot to The Gardens. Taxis are also available.

By Car
From the airport follow the road signs to Gozo or Cirkewwa. The ferry port of Cirkewwa is approximately 45 min or 45 km away. The ferry from here reaches Mġarr Harbour in Gozo in about 25 minutes. From Mġarr, please follow the signposts to Victoria.
