The Golden Sands Resort is ideally located in the north of Malta, overlooking Golden Bay and the Mediterranean Sea. Mellieha does not have a dynamic nightlife but has some bars and restaurants with great ambience. The area also does not offer many dining possibilities, but the hotel restaurants offer diversity in dining.

By Bus
Bus number X1 departs froma Malta International Airport at Luqa and proceeds to Mellieha , where the hotel is situated.
Several buses head to Valletta, the capital where the main bus terminal is situated. Bus number X4 departs from Malta International Airport, Luqa towards Valletta. From Valletta the bus  going to Mellieha is 41.

By Car
You have an option to rent a car and head towards the resort. Leaving Luqa, first head towards Valletta and follow the signboards for St. Julians and then Cirkewwa. Follow the signs until you reach Mellieha. It is also possible to head towards Rabat first, and then follow the signboards to Cirkewwa until you reach Golden Bay. Once there, you will have no trouble locating the hotel. You can also take a taxi from the airport.
