Blue Grotto and Marsaxlokk Market

Duration: 1 day(s) - Location: Blue Grotto and Marsaxlokk

Explore one of Malta’s few unspoilt villages in the south of the island. Together with your guide you will be led to a maltese pjazza along winding narrow streets where progress did not leave its ark. You proceed the tour with a visit to the Blue Grotto and other grottoes. (Boat price not included – weather permitting). Lastly you will visit the main fishing village of Marsaxlokk whose waterfront is lined with ‘luzzus’ painted in traditional reds, blues and yellows that add colour to this peaceful bay which was once the site of the first Turkish landing during the Great Siege of 1565. There you will be given free time to spend browsing around the local market stalls.
